My cousin asked me to help him build a new PC. He is not a gamer, but he wanted snappiness and speed on his new PC. He was using an old Toshiba Satellite laptop before, so he wanted now the speed of the modern tech. We decided to build around AMD Ryzen 7 1700 which is a pretty good CPU for multitasking and it has a decent price, and it also has a stock CPU cooler which is just fine considering that he will not overclock his PC too much. AsRock Fatal1ty seemed to be just what we wanted, a decent board with all the essential stuff on it that we want and a very good price. The ram are decent as well, and they work fine at 3200 speed which we were able to attain only after we updated the BIOS of our Mobo (It was the same with CPU, it is running now at 3.5 Ghz but only after we updated BIOS). We decided to go with Samsung - 970 Evo 250GB M.2 SSD for the windows install and all the other programs. 250 GB enough for that, and the speed of this drive is insane. Everything works insanely fast on it. We used the Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1TB for storage, and it's speed are not that bad as well, considering it's only an HDD. We had an EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB lying around so we decided to use that for the build. This thing is a beast, it can run anything I can think about on it. The Cooler Master H500P Mesh White case it is such a nice case. It has two 200mm RGB fans in front and 1 140mm fan in the back already included (helped by the mesh in the front) which provide just enough airflow for what he needs to do on this pc. Building in this case was a pleasure, plenty of space and plenty of screws and a really easy and neat cable management. The power supply provides the enough juice for this system at a very good price. The Monitor is amazing for it's price. We just loved it!

Overall it was a really smooth build with no problems. Everything worked out exactly as expected.

Part Reviews

Great CPU for a decent price. It has a stock cooler included as well. Really good!

Really good budget mobo. It is pretty decent for overclocking as well but only if you update the BIOS to it's latest version.

Run perfectly and fast at an OC speed of 3200.

This thing is a beast. Very fast! Really good for installing the OS on it.

Good drive for storage and it's speed is not that bad as well (and a very good price).

Video Card

We all know that this thing is a beast. Nothing more to say here.

Beautiful case with very good airflow, very spacious and really pleasant to built in. The included RGB fans are quite quiet, with a good airflow and give the case some really nice aesthetics.

Power Supply

Very good PSU at a good price. Gives the system the juice needed.

This keyboard is really gorgeous. A very good build quality feel on it and very pleasant to type on it. Not too noisy as well.

Gorgeous mouse, wireless, rechargeable. What more to ask?
