Description

Update 12/10/18: As previously mentioned, I have taken and uploaded a few pictures of the closed unit, the desk and the chair. Not by far my ideal environment, but it will do for a while given my current living conditions (renting)...

The price of each component has been rounded to the closest pound (down or up).

If you have any question at all, please feel free to leave a comment below.

Do not worry, I am still questioning myself for that, lol. No genuine reason, just a quick and easy one to get this posted. (But is it not true?! xD)

Thank you very much! Do you have any suggestion? I was thinking of the 'White Walker', but there are a few other builds with that name already. Also, 'Edbot' is an actual small robot (googled it). I want something different and unique to some extent. Need to go on a hunt for inspiration, but not today...

Thank you very much! Actually, back in 2016 when I built the unit, I got one of the first FTW's (pre-ordered from Amazon and waited about a month) which had a small heating inconvenience (more details at https://www.evga.com/thermalmod/). I got in touch with EVGA and got it replaced with a newer one that came out of the factory with the thermal pads installed and updated VBIOS. That resulted in about 10°C negative difference (let us say 65°C instead of 75°C) whilst I was playing something at 100% usage. Today I have been running simulations on BOINC for about 11 hours with 100% usage on it and it was stable at ~60°C with the fans at ~1100 RPM (not overclocked). I am pretty pleased with it. ツ

And she will never find out about it! ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Thank you! I did regret choosing this case for a short while after I saw the ones with 'huge' side panel window, as I enjoy seeing everything inside and they are not built having in mind a number of HDDs in the front like this one. I also did not fully understand (not even after contacting NZXT) how to configure its Fan Hub for different speeds. They have been running at 100% since then, but at least they deliver a very low background noise that does not bother me at all.

Took you 2 years to post it here.

At least "she's worth the wait"

You know how they say: “Better late than never.” ¯_(ツ)_/¯

But something is missing - your previous build! ಠ_ಠ

Hey man, nice looking build! Very interesting name choice lol. Whats your opinion of the Red eagle monitor? I currently have a Black hawk and am looking to upgrade now I have a better GPU. I've seen mixed things online about them
