Description

I built this at the beginning of 2019 and is primarily used as a gaming rig.

I have the 9900K overclocked to 5GHZ

ROG Strix 2080ti OC overclocked using the MSI Afterburner's RTX series auto-overclock function, it gets to around 2050mhz boost

The 2x Samsung Evo Plus' 1TB are in raid 0

Memory is running stock 3200MHZ C16

Awesome build! I love the custom rainbow cables! What brand are those? Cablemod, UpHere, AsiaHorse etc. Although I would recommend rerouting the GPU cables behind the GPU for a cleaner look and so it doesn't impede air flow and I see that the cables kinda block the right most GPU fan.

Happy gaming!

Thanks for the feedback, will try a different routing path when I have the time. As for the cables. They're Thermaltake rainbow extenders.

Hey really nice build and colors I would also recommend setting up the GPU cables a little differently for a cleaner look but great over hardware. Enjoy

It's difficult for me to find good routing options for the pcie cables but I think I like the routing from top out of the 24pin then downwards the best. Will post pics of that up

Nice build! I have The same cooler on the same CPU at 5GHz but switched to kryonaut paste and I idle at 29 under load 60-66 MAX. Try adjusting your fan profile to ramp up earlier. I also have the same fans and switched between the stock fans and the Corsair LL120s and saw an average of 5 degrees cooler temps. Sick color scheme tho👍🏼

Rip just saw you used kryo!!! Something is wrong possibly not enough compound? Your GPU temps are good so I think your fan profile might be set to silent in BIOS or something. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for your input. I usually get those temps under my average gaming load. But when I run benchmarks, things heat up real quick.

Nice build, how does the i9 and 2080ti pair for gaming? I've been eyeing that combo for a bit. Also, I love that you got some Mobius cans. They have honestly been by far my favorite, appart from the odd connectivity issues the sounds from these are godsend, I truly hope you enjoy them!

The i9 and 2080ti are powerhouses for gaming I play with everything maxed settings and even have af/aa settings maxed in NVIDIA control panel for extra fidelity. I really do also enjoy the Mobius with its 3d technology.

What riser cable did you end up using for the vertical GPU? I've noticed a few have compatibility issues with z390.
