Truly impressive. Your cpu costs more than my entire pc.

yes, it was not an easy decision to plunk that kinda money, but a job that would take 8 hrs to run on my previous machine with an i9-9900k + 32gb ram takes about 18-20 mins on this machine, granted, a major part of the uplift was having more ram, the 32 cores help crunch data at astonishing rates. :D It was worth the time savings alone (that's what I am telling my self and my wife :P)

This is the reason you should buy this CPU, not for running fortnite with. :)

This is a working mans processor, not a kids toy!!!!

Amazing build!

May I ask why on earth you need 128gb of freaking RAM? I mean you could get a 3.7GHz processor for less than 200 dollars.

Its my machine learning primary, some of the data sets I work with are very large and sometimes end up having to use the page in spite of having 128 gigs. But yes, one can argue that you can do statistical analysis using an abacus and a slate :P

Paging out w/ 128 gigs? That kinda blows my mind. Perhaps if/when prices drop again you can upgraded to 256 gigs.

Currently I am hitting the page once in maybe 10-15 jobs, and mostly in the start of the pipeline where i am extracting features (usually runs over night) so its not too bad. I will consider the upgrade if it starts becoming more frequent :)
