Description

This bad boy was put together over the last several years, to serve as my gaming PC. She's kinda old but she still pushes ultra on 900p.

p.s. the pc was created in a pool of my blood, sweat, and tears. :)

its practical its cheap it does what you need it to do. what more do you want for this pricepoint. at some point if your games demand more threads there are lga1150 xeons which are pretty cheap (xeon e3-1230 v3 is 70 dollars on ebay)

Getting a better processor at this point would be almost pointless. The RX 470 I got in there is just about perfectly matched with the i5 I got. I dont think a better processor would do me much good, unfortunately. :(

nah thats fine. there is no rush on it. If all the games you play run just fine on the i5-4590s leave it. I only tell people to upgrade if they need it. It might be a good avenue when the platform gets older and games do demand more threads (kind of like when i had friends playing on dual core 2 duos and they went to a core 2 quad for 10 dollars to stretch their pc a little bit longer.
