Description

Build was completed in January/February of 2018.

Build went great, no issues at all so far ~10 months later.

Corsair HD120 and SP120 fans are not compatible with the same controller, both must have their own controller. This makes cable management a bit more complicated. On top of the fact that cable management on the Corsair 570X is already a bit more difficult than most other cases (though this makes complete sense with the backside panel being tempered glass). Will probably replace the SP120's with new HD120's in the future.

RGB build with the Corsair 570X is gorgeous. The white interior really makes everything pop. Really like how everything looks.

So far no issues with CPU or GPU cooling. Build is really quiet. GPU has a slight coil whine, but you can barely notice it even if you are trying to hear it.

Monitor looks beautiful. Get ~80-120 FPS or so on WoW @ 2k, 144hz, max settings.

Nothing is overclocked. Will OC as needed in the future to keep up.

pretty sicc build +1

if you want to and have the money, I would definitely recommend using corsairs LL fans, they look good and perform good, but cost a heck ton.

It really just depends on the look that you like best, I would be happy with either, but would likely go with the hd rgb's, because they are cheaper.

I like the looks of both! Probably prefer the LL. But I agree with you, at the current prices I would probably go with HD if I had to do it all over again. Just gotta win the Mega Millions $1B jackpot tonight and then LL fans for everyone!!!

Thanks a lot! When I was purchasing the parts at the end of last year, I'm pretty sure Corsair had just released the LL fans. I remember briefly looking at them but they were brand new and a lot more expensive than the HD's. Will definitely take another look at them for the next upgrade, they look so nice!!

One of the best builds I’ve seen for gaming but I’d recommend trying to make the setup fit your PCs colour scheme but anyway +1

Currently I have all the RGB cycling through all the colors on their own - I think it would really frustrated some people but I like it cause I like all the shiny random colors that I spent a lot of money on lol.

But yeah, good suggestion. I do want to look into some LED strips to place behind the monitor for black glow mood lighting and whatnot. If you have any recommendations for the setup please let me know would love to hear them!
