I built this machine as a budget 1080p gaming rig. From start to finish everything about this build was surprisingly easy.

Part Reviews

For the money this i5 is awesome if you don't want to mess around with overclocking and need a solid CPU for gaming and general PC purposes.

Great motherboard for those who don't want or need all the bells and whistles of an expensive Z170 or H170 board!

It's RAM... Seriously it's all the same really.

Awesome case for those who like simple designs and ease of assembly!

Power Supply

Holy crap this PSU is awesome! A little overkill for my system but a great value for 80+ Gold and full modularity. Another thing is EVGA sells colored sleeved cable sets for these that are really nice!

Screw Cherry switches! Romer-G is where it's at.

Nice build, how is that Cpu cooler any good? Low profile cooler would work great fro my build.

It's actually overkill for the i5. I could see it properly cooling a 6600K/7600K with a mild overclock quite easily especially if you throw the SP120 on it.

Did you replace the stock fan on the CPU cooler? If so which fan?

I replaced it with a Blue LED Corsair SP120.
