Description

Helped my 15 yr old son build his first gaming PC. Had a really good time teaching him about all the ends and outs and enjoyed watching him with the cable management. I told him to research what he wanted and spec out a gaming PC that would last him a couple of years. Once he had his parts list I told him that I would match whatever money he could save up from his part-time job and I would double it. I think it turned out pretty good for a 1k gaming system. I told him I will build myself a new one in the next month or so. He said he wants me to use the white NZXT case and use a storm trooper pop figure for mine lol.

Is the GPU that you built in any good performance wise? I was looking to buy the same one.

I have the 1060 gaming X plus and can tell you its a beast. Extremely quiet which is a must for me. Obviously the performance will depend on your graphical settings and resolution. :)

Just take into consideration when picking your case, that its a large gpu. Height may be an issue with some smaller itx case.

Yeah I have a gigabyte windforce 1060 oc in mine and the MSI card is a bit bigger. So far he gets over 60fps in all the games he plays, PUBG,Fornight, battlefield 1 and GTA5 with everything cranked up.

Aigo Aurora, 30 bucks for a 3 fan kit with controler and remote. For the price they can't be beat.
