Description

This is my first build and as you can see it's on a budget. I've had it for almost a year now and it does its job well. I got this build for Christmas and got my SSD and monitor for my B-day. I spent my own money on upgrading my CPU that I got off e-bay.

It runs stuff like Overwatch and DOOM well but I only got only 20fps on infinite warfare on low settings. I can't stream anything while playing games or it runs at like 15fps.

Overall it plays the games that it needs to but still struggles at times.

I'm planning on getting a 1060 6gb down the line but I'm not sure yet.

P.S. Don't buy this infernal case please its cheap yeah but it's not worth bleeding over.

Edit: It's been about nine months so since I made this post and I finally got my 1060. I haven't had any trouble with temps yet, but I will keep it posted

Strange that you only get 20fps in Infinite Warfare

I find it funny the monitor is the most expensive thing on this parts list, but still a good build. I would bet your issues with FPS are your GPU, as far as streaming you really need an i7 to pull that off. Streaming needs more than 4 cores on most games unless you go down to low settings. +1 for sure.

it is weird that you get such low frame rates do you have any idea what is causing it?

I have no idea but I think I should check for thermal throttling.

probably a good idea :)

I hazard a guess loading times on your mass storage is very slow because of the 5400 rpm drive, and under harsh load what are the temps like? could you be thermal throttling at all? the intake looks kind of restricted, if not that then maybe drivers are causing your fps issue?

did you change the settings in games? The 460 is more than capable to play those games at 60 fps at reasonable settings.

I second this, 1050ti's arent terribly expensive either, they managed to avoid the mining craze
