Description

I updated my old computer (i5 4460/GTX1060/16GB) to this one because Xplane 11 requires a faster CPU when running with OCULUS Rift (yes faster CPU, non GPU).

  • I decided to go onto a balanced budget+scalable=updatable computer

  • I'm a minimalist fan, so i decided to build it in an small factor case

  • I replaced the Corsair Water cooler fans with TT RGB fans just to improve the look (My mistake, next time i'll buy directly the TT ones)

  • As far i'm being running this PC no problems at all, not overclocked yet.

  • Just consider that the case is all glass, so hiding cables is going to take a while.

Also you won't have the chance to use a DVD, i figured it out, and i'm using a macbook one that fits perfect under the case (see pics)

Machine runs well, and XPLANE 11 improved a lot, unfortunatelly XPLANE 11 restricts to 45FPS when running on VR.

Cool build but I think it'd really shine using that itx board in a smaller case

This is a really cool build! I’ll be finishing one similar to it in December.

Yes it is, but after looking for a time the only one that makes me feel comfortable was this one. Even you can use a Micro ATX instead :)

This case looks nice and similar to the older Core V21.

Great looking case, did the 200mm non controller TT fan perform any different due to not having controller ? Like we're you still able to use the full functio. Of color change , fan speed etc ? I'm thinking of putting in my case but not sure which one to buy
