Description

Thanks for checking out my first water-cooled build. I decided to build in a Meshify C despite the space challenges it would present - I love the unique look of the case, and the customizable front mesh.

My goals for this build: Overkill gaming specs @ 2K. Smaller form, clean look. Reasonable temps at a reasonable case noise level. I'm calling it an all-around success!

Overall the toughest part of the build was building a custom mount for the D5 pump and precisely mounting. I found the pipe bending to be fairly simple (patience while heating!), though the GPU is sagging a bit, which I'll want to fix.

I decided to go with a single slim 360mm rad to allow me to go with the ClockWerk reservoir in the back.. Temp calculations proved to be fairly accurate - at stock (no OC's) running games on Ultra, I'm sitting around 10-15C over ambient with minimal fan noise. Temps have maxed during a stress test at 39C. If you are looking to go hard with an OC on your CPU and GPU, this probably isn't the build for you, but I'm fine with that. I will say my one complaint is that airflow noise from my PSU is frustrating when that kicks-on. I might look to replace that in the future.

Thanks for checking out my build!

This is awesome! I like that res and the pass through out the top. The replacement mesh fronts for that case are so underrated, I don't see them that often. Very nice build!

Speaking from personal experience, watercooling in a meshify is not easy, and damn did you do a good job I personally still had to keep the drive cage in my build which was limiting but I like how you kinda hid the pump where the cage is supposed to go

Ya... those G3's are notorious for being loud. I went with the seasonic prime and its whisper silent.

Great looking build.

Yeah that is admittedly the one part of the build I missed the mark with my research. I was so focused on finding a square form factor so I could mount the pump underneath, that I didn't pay attention to the dB's.

I have a Seasonic Focus+ Gold 650W, and it's amazing. Even with a heavy overclock on my RX 58 (whole system draws around 300W), the fan is dead silent. Coming from me, that should mean a lot. I'm absolutely neurotic about noise. I even replaced the fans on my 580 with Noctua's, which run at 900 RPM while gaming and my case fans are at about 700 RPM. I wanted my system to be as quiet as possible, and this certainly achieved it. Not to mention you can usually find the 850W for only 20-30 dollars more than the 650W.

Awesome build. Very clean. I love the rez and the way you hid your pump. I had a little more room than you for my build Phanteks Pro M SE and kept mine out in the open. The Meshify was in my considered for case choice but once I decide to build my first loop (not as nice as yours) but I wanted a bigger case because I was planning to OC. It is simply amazing you fit all that in there and made it look awesome on top of it. Great Job!

Nice build! The only thing I'd say is that despite how popular they are, nf-f12s are not very good radiator fans. I made the mistake of buying a ton of them for a previous build.

Nice clean build, was wondering how you monted the gpu vertical in a meshify C, had to check the full album on imgur. :P Nice work!
