My first PC I had was 15 years ago and I've used laptops ever since but thought it's time for a proper gaming PC.
It was quite an easy build actually as I'd researched it for a month or so prior, still had a few problems though....
1st problem I had was with the MOBO bios needing updating to support the 4th gen 4690k CPU, took me 8 hours to figure this part out, just wouldn't boot at all, nightmare!
2nd problem, as the H440 case doesn't support a cd drive, I had to boot windows using a usb memory stick, as well as all drivers etc. Wasn't a massive problem but I'd suggest if you're going to use this case, buy a portable disc drive, they're pretty cheap and save a lot of hassle.
3rd problem was after about the 4th start, smoke started pluming out everywhere, a cable in the case for an extra fan that wasn't fitted shorted and melted the wire. I thought it was something much worse at first, horrible sight it was, I've never moved to turn the power supply off so fast.
Was a fun build, taught me a lot about computers. I've had it around 2 months now and had no problems with anything, runs a dream.
Just did a quick 3dMark test, here's the result... http://www.3dmark.com/fs/3445352
Hope you all like the PC as much as I do! Next on the list is a water cooler so I can overclocking that CPU and probably add another 8gb ram. Thanks for taking a look :)
