Description

So this is my first computer built after years of using laptops.
I aimed this build for 1440p gaming and video/photo editing.

With cost in mind I chose those part with the most value for money, So RGB was not an appeal to me and you can see it (or can't :-D ) I might added a little more for the graphics card and power supply.

The only difference from the part listed is the RAM.
I didn't buy the RGB RAM:
Kingston HyperX Fury RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory - HX432C16FB3AK2/32.
Instead, I bought the black version without the RGB not listed on pcpartpicker:
Kingston HyperX Fury black 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory - HX432C16FB3K2/32
I was worried about Compatibility, I know of AMD processors very picky it comes to RAM.
Now that it's finished I'm happy to say that everything working smoothly.

Update:
I paired this build with the Asus ROG STRIX XG32VQR screen.
And I also bought a Logitech G502 mouse, Lenovo Legion K500 keyboard and HyperX Cloud Alpha S Headset.
I use it for a few days, such a good experience.

Update 2: I switched the case form Antec P8 to Antec NX800. The main (and only) reason is lack of air flow and heating. The difference is noticeable. just by putting your hand on the glass you can feel the temperature drop in the nx800.

Why did you go with 32gb?

I'm doing some video and photo editing, so i prefer 32GB over 16GB. 8GB is out of the question.

Thanks! I'm waiting for Black Friday to buy a 1440p 144 Hz screen, currently I'm stuck on 60FPS with ultra settings with my current screen.

Hey did you pick up a new monitor? Didn't realise the GPU had no DVI... my monitor is 144hz but no display ports (therefore I cannot use the 144hz) which is super annoying so I also now have to pick up a new monitor. Let me know which one you got!

I love the use of a micro atx board in a huge EATX compatible case, really makes it look spacious
