Description

This is my first ever PC owned/built for Gaming,Coding.

CPU overclocked to 4.8 Ghz 1.23V

Build is still in progress... The cost is 2200$ and increasing because I am at the other side of the world :D

Part Reviews

Motherboard

BAD USB 3 header placement and the breathing mode does not work on it... one usb2...? Bad Asus support

other than that its perfect.

Case

Motherboard and GPU is not perfectly aligned in this case or maybe its just a GPU sag, I can't tell since this is my first build but I got 3mm sag, the rear fan is designed to block the RGB lights, and the air flow is not that great.

The glass make it look good and the cable management bar is awesome.

Monitor

Very good for gaming, and very bad for reading because the text is **** even with calibration and clear text it just sux. Edit: changed from 2 to 4 this is the best setting I found... check Herschel Mandelbaum answer: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2260823/asus-vg248qe-settings-color-profile.html

sp on front? i thought af would be better? or are you planning to change your cooler to aio?

hsabbagh submitter 1 Build 1 point 7 months ago

The pictures does not have the AF fans yet, but yes the SP are on front are better for my case I guess because I am still having a negative airflow. waiting for my AF fans to be shipped and I will try again.

Not going for AIO until I completely finish my build (SSD's,LED strips, cable mods and a screen) And of course I am replacing the cpu before the AIO

Quick questions. I just bought this motherboard and case, but I have read a few reviews about the lack of internal usb 2.0 ports. How did you get the kraken and case front usb 2.0 plugged in with only one internal usb 2.0? First time builder and I'm hoping there is a way without having to buy a usb extension port??

Thank you!

Hi, I don't have Kraken installed and I am only using one usb 2.0. I think NZXT Internal USB Hub might help you.

Did you have trouble with the case? Havn't heard about the motherboard and PCI-E slots not aligning. Maybe it's a prodution error.

Yeah looks like a defect on the case, The case is good but the airflow is not that much

Or maybe the GPU is just sagging, Its my first build so I am not 100% sure
