Description

This is my second build and it is used predominantly for gaming. I did a whole lot of research and this forum is awesome so I decided to explain what I did here so others may be able to have an easier time than I did.

I am new to overclocking, but I think I may have managed to have found a stable overclock @ 5.0 Ghz with 1.32 for voltage.

Amazing build. Have a question regarding the use of Asus ROG STRIX z390-e. I have built mine (using i7 9700k, rtx 2080ti, and z390-e) and noticed that I have not put in the small VRM fan that came with the motherboard. From looking at your build I have noticed that you have not put it in as well. Do you think is necessary to put it on? or is this not necessary?

No, I do not think it is necessary. My overclock ended up being super stable and I have no issues so far :) I have run multiple stress tests and benchmarks, as well as playing as much apex as I can handle and my temps have been super low thanks to the quality of fans and the rad. Under load, it barely hits 70 degrees at spikes and most of the time stays at 61 ish, when it the computer is just chilling it stays around 29 degrees. I initially decided to forego the vrm fan when I watched this youtube video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjvkYvEhFhk When I was trying the fan out I decided it wasn't worth it and I felt the motherboard with the AIO heatsink looked cluttered.

Great!!! That really helped. I am also first timer in overclocking and been researching different settings for it. Which setting changes allowed best performance + ideal temp under load? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NCHVKB link to my build,

Ho do you like your monitor? Any problems? I am wanting to buy the same one!

The monitor is a dream! 144hz or better and it will change your life, I decided on the g sync version for this one, because of Stewie2k, which is the one he used at the time of the build before they got the BenQ sponsor XD

Where about's did you place the fans. And that build looks spot on. Great work!
