It's my first build that I post on PartPicker, so I hope you boys and girls will like it!
So, I get all my part from NCIX and I get them 3 days ago... except for the case. I could not wait for the case so I went to my basement and I took a PC that I have build like 10 years ago. I took all the part out and I am now using the case by the time I get my R4. For now it is doing the job but I can't wait to do the final build!
I will post some pic as soon as I get my R4. For now you get the old Antec case and all my old stuff that I add in it!
Oh, if you got any sugestion for my build I will be glad to read them!
By the way, sorry for my english!
Update : I finally get my Fractal Design Define R4. I have posted more pictures of my build. I have done what I could with the cable management, I think that it looks good!
I choose the i7 over the i5 for only one reason, CAD. At the college, I am using alot of program like AutoCAD, SolidWorks and CATIA so I went for the extra horsepower that the i7 gives. So far, this CPU is crazy fast. I big upgrade from my i7-920.
Great motherboard overall! Nice spec and great look (In my opinion), but I get some problem with the audio jack. So I open an RMA with EVGA and they where about to send me an other one. But after 2 days, no problem anymore. Dont know realy why but... hey it is working now! SoI cancelled the RMA. By then way, great customer service EVGA!
I started with 8GB of Corsair Vengeance but I think that I will get an other extra 8GB when it will go on special. Nice RAM overall!
Dont know what to say realy. Awesome video card, that's it. I got alot of FPS on all the game I play at max settings. I am really glad about my choise so far!
This is the only part of my build that I am disapointed with. I got some really bad coil whining while gaming. At first I thought that it was my GTX 980, but, gladly, I was wrong. So I send an RMA with Corsair, they are sending me an other one. I hope that will do the trick! I will update my review once I get the other PCU.
