Description

Recently swapped my motherboard and my cpu from the i7-6600T and ASUS Ranger VIII to what it is now. Wow what a job and experience but wouldn't trade it for the world! I haven't overclocked anything to this point but plan on it in the future. I haven't felt this happy since I was a kid building legos, brought back some good ole memories. I currently only play Rainbow Six Siege on the PC right now. Main screen is my ASUS at 144hz. It runs at about 150 fps on the default settings. Any other info just ask! Sorry for no pictures its currently 2am as I am typing this so Im getting a little tired.

So that 1060 wasnt what I paid for the 1060 to clear that up, I believe I paid about 140 for it from a local store in my area!

Are those 2 SSD's in RAID for 256 gigabytes?

Congrats on getting your first build done! Some questions: Were 2 separate orders of Ram cheaper than getting a 16GB (2x8) pack? Likewise with the 2 SSDs and the 2 HDDs. The video card seems a bit expensive for a 1060. Monitor choice was interesting as well. The LG monitor seems very expensive for only 60Hz and does the Asus support Free or Gsync?

The LG is mainly for secondary windows and browsing I never actually play on it. The Asus does support Free sync however not Gsync anymore. They made an upgrade kit for it but no longer have it.

You could have got a better GPU like a 1070 or 1070Ti instead of the 1060 within the price range.

Nearly $400 fora a 1060... I'm never buying from ROG or ASUS again.

That is just because they didn't drop the prices of their older gpus or he overpaid... The new gpus are in the same price range as all the other ones.
