Description

This piece of work was something that I needed to replace a 4 year old Dell XPS 17 Laptop. It ran well for the first year, until it decided to burn out the motherboard for whatever reason. While it was replaced, it always caused overheating from the left side, due to its poor fan output on that side. For this build I wanted something that could air out all that heat easily, so with the parts I have listed, even the case, this was a build that I really liked doing, albeit a bit frustrated given the 8-10 hours I sunk into piecing everything together. Mind you, it's a first time build and I wanted to be extremely sure about everything.

Everything functions beautifully. Seeing 60 FPS without any framerate issues, having fast loads, and a cool PC allows me to smile every time I boot it and hear the beast give a low growl before the Windows login screen shows up. Super happy with my K9 Howler. Can't wait to upgrade it in the future.

Nice parts...its a gamers dream parts list. As for the build idk, in one pic i see a jungle of cables inside the case i hope you didnt just left them hanging there.

Nah. They've been managed a bit better. I don't think I'm too good with cable management or that the placement of parts only allows for awkward wiring. Still, it's not a mess as it was before.

How you like the G-Skill Sniper memory?

The memory functions really well! Great speed and working really nicely. If there's one gripe I have with it, it's that when I built it, the top portion of the stick has plastic that resembles a sniper's scope and barrel. While that is nice and all, it didn't allow me to insert it in one certain RAM slot because it wouldn't fit next to the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus. I was still able to place it in the other slots, but this wasn't something that I had thought would happen.
