Description

This is my first build and I've been thinking about making a computer since forever and I've finally found the guts to make it. I've been using laptops for ages since I can take it places to make it easier for usage. I've finally settle down for the most part and can afford to have a PC now. After thorough researching and overlooking other builds and set ups. I've finally found one that fits my needs for a simple yet powerful build to play games of all kinds. I believe the overall pricing for this isn't too high if you take out all the unnecessary accessories that aren't really required that I've compiled in the build. It didn't take too long to get everything together once I got all the parts. Front wiring is a little off because my 24 Pin hasn't came in yet since they're out of stock apparently for the color red so I just used the one that was given. Will re-upload some new photos once it comes in and make the wiring look better as well. I have all 10 fans hooked up to the fan controller labeling with what came with the motherboard stickies (2 to each channel). LED lights are pretty cool. If there's specific photos you want of the PC, just comment below. Let me know what you think! :)

Note: I've taken off the HDD cages since people were wondering why I have it there. It was there initially for the picture and to display how it would look with it.

5 June 2015: Updated 2 new photos with better wiring and both HDD cages off.

Fantasic build sir! One question though: Why leave the hard drive cages in if you're only using an SSD?

Thanks! It was initially there for the looks to show people how it looks like and if I were to use it or if someone to wanted to see how it look with the tower.

Ah ok, that makes sense. Too bad you don't have anything to put in 'em, they look great!

Nice paint job, but if you're not using the drive cages why not take them out for better airflow to the GPU?

A lot of similarities in our builds, the painting turned out great, especially the 980!

I am curious though, why did you keep the HDD cages in if you don't have one?

Nice build though!

Know what you should do? Take some 400 grit sandpaper and sand the green off of the Geforce logo on the 980. The LED's are white and they'll match way better.

Where'd you get the red cables? How much were they?

It's listed as the last two custom parts I have listed on the parts list: Professional Individually sleeved DC Cable Kit, Type 3 (Generation 2) and RED Individually Sleeved ATX Cable 24pin (Generation 2), RED. (80-90ish for the cables and 20-30ish for the 24 pin). You can find practically find it anywhere online to buy from and in various colors. :)

Thanks!, Not living here permanently so I wouldn't want to constantly carry wood dressers around when moving. :)
