Description

2nd build of mine. Primarily gaming. Went ahead and upgraded my i5-8600k to the i9-9900k, Corsair Crystal 680X RGB, and Gigabyte z390 Aorus pro. Prior build's Phanteks P300 case wasn't giving me enough airflow and space for a 280mm radiator.

To continue, man the 680X is a superb case. Paid a large penny, but possibly the last case I will buy for years on end. Plenty of room to maneuver cables and space for extra SSDs and HDDs. The main window is hinged on the left side and opens with relatively small effort, and won't open magically when moving the case itself. Absolutely no problems feeding the wires through the rubber grommets.

I got the 9900k O'ced to 5.0Ghz @1.325v stable with fantastic temperatures, never hitting 70c.

The RGB fans look wonderful, sound relatively quiet in the balanced setting, and are easily controllable through the Corsair Cue software.

Sticking with my 1080ti as a 20% increase in frames does not constitute a $1,200 2080ti price tag. I have all the frames to fill out my 1080p 240hz acer monitor.

For sound I am running a Schiit Modi Multibit and Magni stack paired with the Drop x Sennheiser HD6xx. Amazing quality of sound, compared to SteelSeries Arctis 5 which I used in the past.

Considering the addition of 2-140mm fans at the bottom of the case for more inflow. I am looking into another M.2 drive to satisfy my hunger for fast storage. Any recommendations?

Pretty nice. With all that space in the case, a custom loop would make it awesome.

Thanks! Absolutely, I would love to get a custom loop. I must do my homework on making one first so I don't screw things up.

Could throw in a SX8200 Pro or 970 Evo Plus to satisfy the need for speed.

How's the temps when gaming? 4 fans total I see. What's your setup? Side intake? Top/back exhaust or???
