Welcome to my riced out, sticker horse-powered, plasti-dipped, zip tied & double sided taped up build!
What a joy this was to build! I was inspired by the Stalker V2 on here to chop up an old *** HP P6000 case I had lying around and make it my own. I have never had more fun with a computer build, haha. There's is something about a custom case and budget parts that I know all of you can relate to and enjoy. I wanted a finished product that was pretty cool, neat to look at and cheap!
I think this is going to be a project that i'll always be changing and modding. Every time I look at it, I get new ideas. Tools used in this build were a dremel, file, 2 cans of plasti-dip, epoxy, several random screws, washers and anything I could find to hold this thing together.
This is my daily driver/gaming rig. I love the g3258 so much and it's going to be hard to let go of it... Currently clocked at 4.3ghz w/ 1.3v. Since i've started i've switched from a 750 ti to an R9 380x, added a hyper 212 EVO, and switched from a 220watt to a 380watt power supply.
Overall i'm pretty happy with it right now. I had to remove my media hub because it was blocking the PSU fan causing it get a little loud. I'm open to any suggestions anyone has or ideas so please let me know!
Future mods/upgrades: Reinstall media hub somehow, LED lighting, wtb skylake................., My ocd needs a card to fill the entire top space of about 13 inches, Modular power supply.
Edit Reinstalled the 750 ti FTW due to issues with the R9 380x, Installed 2 Corsair SP fans, Removed fan for northbridge cooling.
