Description

Honestly what can I say...

It's a beast of a system with great performance. Runs Overwatch, Fortnite, Apex Legends, and Rainbow Six Siege all at the highest settings at 144 fps.

I built this really quickly as I was in a rush to get my computer built.

Cable management is actually trash, but the Lian-Li PC 0-11 Dynamic hides that extremely well.

Everything except for the Corsair RAM is controlled by Razer Synapse 3.0, which for me has worked like a dream. My only gripe is that the Thermaltake fans and AIO's software sometimes doesn't sync up with Synapse, and that is ultra annoying.

Please, in the comments tell me every. single. way. in which I wasted money for looks even though I could have gotten way better performance. It's sad, I know.

Edit #1: I understand that some people have a negative opinion of Razer, so I wanted to clarify. I got the keyboard for $90 on sale, and so far I have had a very positive experience with it. Personally having the ability to control practically everything with Razer Synapse is a blessing, and I already had the Deathadder when I started building this computer. That's why I went Razer everything, and calling myself a Razer fanboy was the easiest way to explain this.

Part Reviews

CPU

Very fast, and it is boosted up to 4.7 GHz which is absolutely crazy!

CPU Cooler

Pretty good cooler, but I chose it mainly for the looks. The software (Which was supposed to sync up to Razer Synapse) is pretty faulty, and every single time I put my computer to sleep the RGB messes up.

Motherboard

10/10 motherboard. Has wifi, TONS of connections, and a bunch of other useful features. Kind of overpriced though.

Storage

Great drive, but I didn't realize it wasn't nvme. :( Then again, for the price, what did I expect.

Video Card

Great graphics card, and overclocking was Super easy, and it even has a nice software auto-overclocker.

Case

I'm a huge Razer fanboy, so when I saw this case I was in love. Airflow is kinda bad, but what did I expect from this metal and glass beauty.

Monitor

Solid monitor. Wish I had more money for 1440p 144hz monitor. Might upgrade/add a second monitor in the future.

Hate how people are like "yOu WaStEd MoNeY!!!" You didn't you'll have this for (like you said) 8 years. It's totally worth every penny, i bet you'll still get excited when you hit the power button knowing you paid for it and you'll have the chance to enjoy it in all its glory.

Why do you dislike nvme drives?

I don't dislike them, I was saying that I thought that the drive that I got was nvme, but it wasn't. That's what I meant

A nice, decent build but you should have done some research first and set yourself a budget before rushing to get your PC built instead of wasting your hard earned money on expensive PC parts. There are some PCs on this site that were built on budgets that are less than half of your total cost. Also, don't get fixated on how cool your PC looks but focus more on how well it performs. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, you're pretty much telling me what everyone, including myself, has been telling me since I built this PC. Honestly, even though the build is super over-priced, this build will last me like 8 years, and is an absolute powerhouse. But thank you for the feedback, your 2 cents are ultra appreciated.

Did you have any problems with the 2070? Been reading that some are dying early on and want to get one but am asking around first thank you.

Even though you wasted money the Rick Funko pop is awesome

How did OP waste money? It's OP's build after all.

Brandon, I could have easily lessened the aesthetics of the build and gotten an RTX 2080 or something. So Gengid is kinda right.

Why on god's green earth would you get a VeNgEaNcE RgB PrO Light Enhancement Kit... That is such a waste of money. $40 for what? for What???? it adds nothing to the PC but looks which do nothing for the actual performance which matters!?

Edit: I see on your desk that there is also a rgb razor goliathus mouse pad that was $60 Such a waste money. There is $100 right there wasted on looks and performance. (don't get me wrong this pc is very well built) however, the amount of money spent on looks is a disgrace.

Wait... you're telling me that my kidney is worth MOAR than the $40 I sold it for. I thought that the kidney was worth the 500+ fps I get from my sick RGB????!!!!

Why would you spend 200 on a trash razer keyboard? Razer makes horrible, and I mean horrible peripherals. You should have gotten a Ducky keyboard for 1/2 the price and so much better quality. With that money, a 2080 could've been in the list. I am afraid I cannot say, "Nice build!" . . . it's a shame people are still Razer fanboys. If you're a normie at least go Corsair.

It is a nice build. What's so wrong with Razer? Also, it's OP's build after all.

P.S: I have two Razer mouses. One is 14 years old and the other is 10 years old. They don't seem so "horrible" or "trash".

They are trash. I have logic on my side . . . and what do you have? Your dying love for Razer?

It's okay to have an opinion but bashing someones build because they use Razer isn't cool.

I'm curious...what is the logic?

Dude, read my comment. I got trapped into the ecosystem, and Razer's products aren't that bad.

Why do you dislike Razer so much? Just curious

  • 2 points

Honestly, you're right. I did not spend $200 on the razer keyboard though. I got it on sale for $90. Also i'm only a razer fanboy because I got trapped in their ecosystem with my mouse, and didn't want to have to deal with the mess of cables that comes with a lighting node pro. I had an entire Corsair build : pcpartpicker](https://pcpartpicker.com/list/RfZx7W) but it was too expensive and I really didn't want to deal with the lighting node pros as said before. That's why. I also completely agree with me wasting money, and that I could have an RTX 2080, just look at the first comment.

I would like to say that a lot of their stuff is indeed overpriced, but their products are inherently trash because of that reason. I, and a handful of people I know quite well, have owned at least 2 pieces of razer gear, and based off of their history with using it and my history of using it. I have never once had a piece of Razer gear malfunction in anyway nor have I not been satisfied with my purchase. Now I'll add that I don't buy their products brand new because of the absurd pricing, but I do continue to buy Razer products. I have had a logitech mouse and a Corsair Keyboard before. The mouse just didn't feel to fit as good as a razer naga did. The Corsair Keyboard was really nice, I won't lie, but it have the look that I would've liked. Everyone has their own preferred peripherals. But that doesn't mean you gotta trash the other side. In the end, it is all just a matter of opinion.
