Description

During the day this room is used for work when me and my brother decide to work from home, at night my other brother (or friends) comes over and this place turns into a gaming media room. I painted the NZXT cable shroud and the radiator. everyone asked me why the 2 HUE+ controllers, well I have too many rgb strips and I need both to connect to as well as all the leds in the room are wired to the monitor including the one behind the table. The table was also built custom, went to Ikea where I bought 2 table slabs for about 2 bucks each cut it down and placed it on top of an older stand that can be raised the corner L piece has a 2X4 keep it level but it works great . Both CPU's are delidded, , NZXT build is stable at 5.1 and 1.31 the other no ones had a chance to mess with yet but sure its similar the nzxt. Please let me know if you have any questions, here to help and thanks for checking out the build.

Nice build man, what kind of work do you do that requires screens oriented in that way?

  • 2 points

thanks man, we work first and business class travel just requires two screens but when you can have 6 windows open at at once which is what i do using Display Fusion, I get the work done 3-4 times faster, we can work with multiple sources at the same time and save time. I had my boss cover most of the cost on everything, I came out of pocket about 2800 for everything and I got to pay that out of my paychecks however much i decided to pay that pay period. so definitely worth it as its at my house and I keep everything in the future anyways.

Sweet build man. Im sure you are using CAM software to control your kraken and Aura to control the mobo and ram. I just wanted to ask if the two run nicely together? I read that the aura software sometimes ***** up CAM.

honestly i dont notice a difference, sometimes I cant figure how to set Aura on a solid color tends to do Static sometimes, but overall I've been using the Aura to power like at least 40 ft of leds and the cam software for all of the nzxt stuff, kinda wish they had a software for both

Hey davidpk52,

Seriously bruv this is a proper naughty as **** build...

It has a vey clean/sharp look to it mate, seriously huge congrats!!!!!

I do have a quick question though geezer if you don't mind... I've noticed you are using "Aftermarket PSU Braided Cables" with your EVGA SuperNova G2 PSU... Where in the hell did you get them bruv? I have looked everywhere but the only way I can get them is either in America...or imported from America... I honestly don't really want to have to buy a new PSU when my G2 works great if you feel me! Any help. including a ******* hint would be massively appreciated bruv lol

Again, a huge congrats on your rig mate, 10/10!!
