Description

This machine is mostly used for gaming and work. So far I love it. Been adding more storage as my Steam library and virtual machine sandboxes grow.

Do you have your virtual machines set to fixed size or do you just store a lot on them?

I have 3 with 100-150GB mostly. The storage is mostly for gaming but if you don't game that much you can get away with just one of the SSDs

Rather have too much and not need it. Than not enough and need it. I have 3TB and I easily fill that up with steam library, movies (remember.. blueray is a million GB's per)

That's a beast of a machine! So, I was wondering why you settled on RAM speed of 2400 and not go a bit higher? Also, I hear Ryzen is pretty bad *** for gaming/productivity. Nice build :)

Thanks! The RAM is from a previous build, and after doing some research and checking some benchmarks in YouTube I noticed that RAM speed didn't matter much when using Intel processors and is much more significant with AMD. However if the price difference isn't much I would recommend 3000 just to be future proof but fps gains will be like 2-3 most times.

Thanks! And so far it's an awesome MB, aura software can be a little tricky to install but it works fine once you d.

Can you take a picture looking straight at the case?

From the front or side? Will do both just in case

Both would be nice. And by the way I do mean the side.

Might want to change the build name since it's only $2.1k since there's no price for you monitor.

Taotronics soundbar

It's good so far but for gaming and music I prefer headphones.

How come you chose to go with an s340 over something newer? Just curious. I have the s340 and love it.

I owned it already, decided to use it for the new build since in my experience the airflow is good and it barely gets dirty inside. It's a pretty great case and still looks slick in my opinion.
