Description

My friend wants to start streaming and enter the pc master race so i helped him out a bit. Let me know on what you think ! Also the cooler om the actual build is an Aigo RGB 120mm but it wasnt listed here. Also the GPU was given by a friend specifically for him to use in his first pc so we didnt go out and buy one because this was given free by a friend. A good christmas gift am i right? Yes the parts are not new etc but it’s what fit his budget. Follow him on twitch and support the DREAM! twitch.tv/xtoxicglowx

Nice! Thats nice of you to give all that to your friend, but just wondering with those specs how is he going to stream anything but like CSGO or something?

Streaming is more CPU dependant in my experience. So if the i5 is overclocked i'm sure he could stream quite a few games. Not the latest, no, but since these were donated parts anyway, i doubt he has the money to buy the latest games in the first place.

Yeah these corsair cases aren't the greatest for cable management. I've got a personal vendetta for my Corsair SPEC ALPHA case i bought over a year ago for £70 and i don't regret the purchase, i regret the price i bought it for, since there were amazing cases for around that price and cases seem to have only ever increased in price.

So what? My dad still uses an i5-2500k and a GTS 450 from Palit. I love it. It can play a lot of my favourite games that can run on a 32 bit windows OS.

I would understand if these were parts you had laying around not being used so you put them in this build. What wouldn't make sense would be to buy old hardware for use in a build.

How do you know he had a budget of $600-700? Weren't most of these parts left over or spares or used? In that case, it was more like $400, which the GPU would have fit nicely into that budget. I don't disagree its a weak card by any means, but since it was given for free by someone else to get the guy going, i'm sure it wouldn't matter too much and he would appreciate it.

Not everyone has the money to throw around from sponsorship's to get the best hardware, you just gotta make do with what you got.

A friend of mine owns a 4GB stick of corsair vengeance ddr3 RAM that he has been using for a good 5+ years.

Not to trigger you anymore but clearly you cant deal with people and down-vote anything that annoys you. I would suggest to get out more.

Actually.. ill amend this. Ok you can deal with people, but not online. :D Still, i work in retail so i talk to people regardless. Maybe its just because i was raised differently but it does seem you get annoyed with pretty much anyone who disagrees with you or has a different point of view. It can become toxic and people wont like you ******** on them every second. I would stop and just politely advise people instead of saying "its terrible" even if its overpriced.

Quit being negative. This obviously doesn't effect you in any way and the OP is doing something kind for a friend to get him into PC's. Elitist's like you shouldn't bother bringing others down when they are simply doing an act of kindness.

Sorry let me reiterate I deleted that line because yes he had a budget of 6/700 but I only spent $500 actually I wanted him to keep the rest for his peripherals monitor etc. the cpu mobo ram I got for $250 gpu free from our friend case psu ssd from frys also another $200 or so. So sorry didn’t specify
