Description

Console gamer who wanted to make a change to pc for gaming and streaming.

The PSU kept shutting down after every 5 minutes. I returned it and got this one from my local microcenter https://www.microcenter.com/product/485308/750-watt-80-plus-bronze-atx-semi-modular-power-supply

how do you control the rgb on this setup?

Do not have my gpu yet so can’t install the software quite yet.

This is totally sick, really love the aesthetic and uniform desk and surrounding colors. I would recommend maybe making a more complementary color for your rgb, maybe try out some really nice aqua breathing?

Thanks, that’s the plan once I can download software after gpu is installed

The RX 5700XT would also be a great GPU for this build. It offers similar performance to the RTX 2070 Super but for only $400. The only downside is that it does not support ray tracing but if you are looking to save a little the RX 5700XT is a great option.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was able to put my order in last night and saw that in the majority of the games I am planning to play had better performance with the gpu I bought

Yes, see the parts list wouldn't recommend the one's I am using. More of a silver color.

This is a really nice build and yes, I actually thought they were windows in the first photo (I wasn't paying attention to the fact it was a road!).

If I can make one suggestion, get a monitor arm (or a dual one). They make a big difference to my comfort at the desk as I don't have to put pressure on my neck by looking down all the time as well as being able to tilt the screen or pull it up and out if I want to stand for a while.

What's next? A gaming chair perhaps?

Both of those are on the wishlist along with an updated second monitor. We shall see.

I replaced it with a rip jaw 750g from my local micro-center. It didn’t make it more than a few months

I bought them off amazon for 10 or so dollars. I didn't check with Ikea. The middle leg is from Ikea though.
