Description

My first build. I had no idea what I was doing (haha) so imagine my surprise when I fired it up and everything worked. I knew I was going to have clearance issues with the cooler on the top. I almost thought it would work but I ended up having to attach the cooler to the top two Corsair 120 RGB intake fans that came with the case. They have some aesthetic design molding that kept the radiator from fitting perfectly so it isn't attached with all 8 screws. Since the SP 120 fans that came with the cooler stopped being for the CPU I hooked them directly to the GPU. That was the only real hiccup I had in the build. Looks great, runs great. To me, anyway. I love it. Wife came up with the name. She also did the cable management because she's the neat one. The Mass Effect AI character seemed fitting since I was going for a white on black with blue lighting build. Everything is RGB, though, if I want to change it up.

Simple, effective computing. Hope you had a good time putting it together.

A lot of fun. A frustration here or there but nothing that made me question my purchase. I learned a lot for my first time at bat and made some made some truly rookie moves. For instance, I spent more time than I care to admit trying to figure out why my fan connectors didn't match only to find that there were covers on the end.

Well for a total rookie, not a bad job. Especially because it gives you a little time to consider the cable management and work on it. A work in progress that's effective and still looks pretty good.

Thank you. Complete rookie outside of removing hard drives from work laptops.

I just asked. I did do all the routing, she did the zip-tying. Plus, she has smaller fingers. I have giant meat paws.
