Previously this was a i5-4690K optimized build for 4K gaming, productivity and for silent work in less demanding apps. However, for the Ryzen the cooling is not optimal when the GTX 1080 runs at full speed. Surprisingly, the system did not crash anytime since it was build in last September.
I will move the components eventually to a midi tower for better cooling (maybe NZXT H400). Otherwise, for a slightly less powerful CPU this timeless and aesthetic tower is a nice addition to a living room.
Note: On the picture is a be quite! silent wings fan instead of the Noctua and a different keyboard (older setup).
Best productivity CPU for the money and not a bottleneck for 4k gaming. It is quite good.
This motherboard is certified for Ryzen 2700X but the voltage converters appear to be designed for weaker processors or are of poor quality (114°C ). I would recomend this Asrock only for 65 Watt Ryzens. Otherwise, there is nothing special about this motherboard but it was the only one available with a optical audio output.
This memory was the only one 3200 16 GB kit available from the Asrock compatibility list. It works as intended.
Older than 5 years and has some bad sectors. Otherwise a graveyard for game files.
Excellent. Like every other Samsung Evo SSD.
Like every Gigabyte VGA it is good when you can get it cheap.
A unique masterpiece with some space limitations.
Excellent. Over 5 years and still running quite.
It is a nightmare. Every 6 months a larger update will break something, remove components and reset some settings for fun.
Very good keyboard. Broken software.
Love it for my smaller claws.
