I'm giving this motherboard some weird looks, I have never seen RAM end up the other way instead of the more traditional way, neat build though, just a weird motherboard.

WAIT YOU'RE 13, AND YOU HAVE THIS KINDA SYSTEM? That's pretty cool. +1

It’s the only X299 Mini-ITX motherboard so I had to stick with it :)

I believe its so quad channel memory could fit on an itx. By using laptop ram.

Did you not get the NZXT cooler because of the amount of LED you already put in? And this build is literally a BEAST! Nice job!

  • 1 point

My fans, LED strip, power supply, RAM were all Corsair so I just kept the build consistent :)

Makes a lot of sense now. Can't say it enough, but awesome build!

Trippy... the curved monitor and bloated case makes for a trippy setup. Clean build!

So, you build an awesome, expensive, and ultimately the most powerful M-ITX consumer/prosumer PC available right now, and only give us three photos? More, please. But for now, +1 will do.

Hey dude, did you try overclocking it just a big? It might seem like 2.6 ghz isn't that much. Have you tried OCing it to around 3.5 or even 4.4?

  • 1 point

I feel that 18 core, 36 threads @2.6ghz is more than enough for me. :)

this board has 3 m.2 slots if you can buy 2 more 960 pros and run em all in raid 0 that is the only way this build can get cooler

Mini ITX X299? that board honestly seems like the weak link here in an otherwise amazing build

  • 3 points

It really doesn’t compromise anything but more PCIe slots :)

  • 1 point

Weak because of size? Without looking too deeply into the board I imagine all that is missing is Quad channel ram, extra pcie slots and maybe some lanes?

  • 2 points

It really doesn’t compromise anything but more PCIe slots. It has quad channel RAM :)

I don’t think age really matters :)

When GPU mining isn’t profitable anymore, but that will be a while :)
