Description

I use this machine for gaming and web browsing. It runs all games very well and hasnt given me any problems. built the best i could afford being single miliatry. The video card is actually a GALAX which i couldnt find but bought it locally as with the power supply. runs battlefield 4 on ultra settings with no problems around 90 fps and drops into the 80's during intensive fights. I am really happy with the performance of my FX 8350 for the price. My cable management is terrible right now just wanted to get it running i will fix it soon.

Looking at the parts made me happy, looking at the 3rd photo made me cringe a bit. Might want to fix up the cable management, it will increase your airflow :) Otherwise, it's a +1 from me

I wouldn't take everything apart, but at least take all the cables out and route them again :)

Yeah the 8 pin cable motherboard cable sucked to route thats why its just over the video card lol

I agree with vikingXcore about the monitor, I think you could have gotten a better monitor for that price, however I do like the FX series and don't mind the 8350, as I will have that in my build soon. How do you like that motherboard? When I put the 8350 in that is the motherboard I plan on pairing it with.

Another question I would have is why you didn't go with a 3TB hard drive instead of having a 2TB and a 1TB, the 3TBs went on sale not to long ago and you could have gotten one for around $100, and would save the worry of managing two hard drives.

Also as a side note, when you work on cable management I would suggest moving your hard drives to the bottom rack and removing the middle rack, it should help to improve airflow in your case.

Thanks for the tips, I have had my monitor for awhile since i bought it locally. I bought the monitor before i got a desktop i just used it for my laptop before. Also i've had the 2TB green drive for quite awhile and I dont use that much space so a TB hybrid drive was fine for me. I love the motherboard. Cant go wrong with it, The overclocking features are good with it and I havent had any problems with it so far.

Very nice build you have. I think your build is better than mid range.

Nice build! Also, this is a high end build, not what I would call mid-range. Great build otherwise expect for maybe your cable management. +1.

$1400 and no ssd D: D: those things are too fast not to have. Other than that, this is far from a mid range gaming pc. That is a beast gaming pc.

I have an 80 GB intel ssd from a long time ago but my hybrid drive is fast enough for me :P

Is the psu good? Will you recommend this to me? I am looking to buy a good 750 psu for the same card as you.
