Great for storing my steam library

Very fast for an HDD, can't go wrong with the warranty on this either.

WD is the best hdd maker on the market, never disappointed by any of their products.

There's not a whole lot of HDD's that claim 200MB/s sequential, but this one does and it delivers! It's not an SSD though, so you're looking at very poor random IOPS.

from completed build 3rd PC Build - MightyByte

I've been plenty happy with it. It is covered under a 5 year warranty. Much better warranty than the other drives from Western Digital at the time. Works great for my game libraries.

from completed build Client Build: Operation Blackbird

The Western Digital Black Series 1TB drive was chosen due to it's high read and write speeds due to it's upgraded single platter design.

from completed build First Build (aka Broseph Stalin)

It's a hard drive. It stores stuff. Good brand. Already half full.

from completed build Peter North 1.0

great for mass storage but makes a lot of noise

from completed build College Transport Box

Tons of space, great performance, and awesome reliability!

1 TB is enough for me, but an extra SSD card is very usefull if you want to play video games on max quality.
