This power supply is definitely enough for this build and provides some space to upgrade in the future. The semi modular cables also help because you don't need to install them all in this build which helps with air flow.

from completed build Newton (First Build)

This is sufficient for me. I'm not going to be overclocking for real anytime soon, so I only needed the basics. I love the semi-modular as it helps keep my case clean. It was super cheap and does its job. This will probably be the first part that I upgrade.

I docked a star because it doesn't seem to work well with the intel sleep states. When my computer is asleep its runs hotter than when its at idle, but awake. I'm not sure if this is actually due to the PSU, but that's my suspicion.

from completed build Budget Ubuntu PC (First!)

Semi-modular, 80+ Bronze, aesthetically pleasing. What more could you ask for?

A very good modular PSU.

from completed build Mom's PC (very budget)

It'll do the job, just don't put it in a gaming rig or anything related to powerful.

from completed build PC for My Dad

Haven't even heard the fan turn on yet! Nice and quiet.

from completed build Joy -- My First Build

I have had no problems with this product so far

Solid, quiet power supply. $40 isn't bad if you're hard up for a semi-modular PSU, but it's probably worth your money to just splurge on a equally reliable 500w+ PSU. This will do the trick if you're looking for something for a build that won't need to shut down the local power grid to run.

Good all round power supply. Runs quiet and cool and the modular cables are a big help in the case i have as there are no unnecessary cables in the way. Would of been nicer if all the cables were braided but thats something i can live with.

Have always used Corsair Power supplies and (knock on wood) have had a problem yet
