This thing has been through hell. Overclocking and multitasking champ. Doesn't even break a sweat, even with new games.

Awesome, it has kept good temperatures for me, and runs what I need it to. At 3.5 GHz, it does not bottleneck my GPU. I will overclock soon.

from completed build Extrodius Level 4

This CPU works great. I was originally planning on getting an FX-6300 but I thought the extra cores would be nice for rendering and multitasking. I've been using this for playing games and rendering for around 6 months now and its been great with no problems.

from completed build ICY (First Build)

So fast. Having 8 cores is excellent for rendering, multitasking, and bragging to my many friends. It completed a render in 30 seconds that my old CPU was unable to complete in 3 hours. The pre-applied thermal paste on the stock cooler was quite convenient. I have since bought a Hyper 212 Evo because the stock cooler had trouble keeping up.

Solid, overclocked to 4.4 and stable. Had up to 4.5 but was worried about the amount of voltage. If I went water cooled and had a more OC friendly board I bet I could get 5.0 on this thing. Was going to get a 6300 but this was on sale at my local Micro Center so I jumped on it. Next upgrade will most likely be the 9370. (wanted a 8370 but it is so close to the 8350 in benchmarks).

from completed build First Gaming RIG (First build)

Excellent CPU I have seen no problems so far.

from completed build Project: Caspersen

Great overclocker! Beats out the 8350 imo

from completed build Our first build

Awesome cpu this is clocking 3.79 GHz for me.

from completed build Potato Rig

Great value CPU,works great in every game.Sometimes it gets loud when playing games, but I will buy aftermarket cooler soon.

Best bang for the buck CPU out there, worth it!
