I use this PC for iRacing and Gaming, I have a triple monitor setup built into a 1989 Mustang LX interior that uses 5.1 surround sound and a Logitech G27 Wheel. I've experimented with the Oculus Rift Dev kit and also run a 24" Asus monitor on my desk.

All CPU overclocking was done in the Bios and not done using AMD overdrive.

Time to sell anything thats not a car or car related and buy a real sports car. Nice build though.

Wait u can run an overclocked 8350 and 2 7970 in crossfire with a 750w? How much are you pulling?

ghostroaster5 5 points 13 months ago

739w. I checked out his part list breakdown. Crazy, huh? :)

fugudacat [Submitter] [1 Build] 3 points 13 months ago

Should be around 730watts at peak. My power supply is now the weakest part of the build and will most likely be upgraded soon.

tagskillz 3 points 13 months ago

Ok that's awesome...

Apach3 [2 Builds] 3 points 13 months ago

it's a bit expensive for an AMD machine, but i like it nonetheless.

18hockey [1 Build] 8 points 13 months ago

I still don't understand why people think AMD parts can't be in expensive builds...

Apach3 [2 Builds] 4 points 13 months ago

i don't have anything against an expensive AMD-based PC. in fact, i plan on another $2000 in upgrades, plus another $1000 in liquid cooling, to my own AMD-based system. i made my comment because AMD platforms aren't known to be a choice for any build worth more than $1500.

So, just to say, this build without the 3 screens, the keyboard, the mouse, the speakers, he headset, and the Ocolus Rift and wheel and pedal set, this build is about 2000 dollars

jav26122 [1 Build] 2 points 13 months ago

Have you used the oculus rift? How is it? Looks amazing from what I've seen.

twinky 2 points 13 months ago

Is there bad microstutter? I thought 7970's in crossfire would only work well on a single monitor.

Anyways, sweet build.

fnapoli [1 Build] 2 points 13 months ago

Where's the 2nd 7970?

fugudacat [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 13 months ago

it's an Asus 280x Direct CUii top that shows up on my door step this week. Hard peice to get a hold of due to the litecoin industry consuming all the video cards.

tagskillz 1 point 13 months ago

Ok that's awesome...

fugudacat [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 13 months ago

I had to manually enter the prices but used the references that I got from the website and my reciepts I have here at home as some of the parts have been around for a little while!

Neuenc [2 Builds] 1 point 13 months ago

Why is your 3DMark11(P) score so low? 10K running in Crossfire? Did you bench it before adding the second card? Nonetheless, very nice build.

BASSIC_RZ [1 Build] 1 point 11 months ago
