wow. beautiful

"+513Mhz on Memory."

Do you mean 6008 mhz + 513? or?

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 3 points 15 months ago

Yes, Mem Clock offset +513

fsma92 [2 Builds] 1 point 15 months ago

Could you explain the difference between OCing the core clock and the memory clock?

What affects what.. Thank you!

Radicult [2 Builds] 2 points 15 months ago

Look's like you have a NZXT fetish there, Johnny boy!

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 14 months ago

To be honest I got the Case becuase it supports the 280MM Kraken X60, Being that it is the biggest All in one cooler i figured why not. Just got more NZXT fans to match What was already in the case/X60. also matches the Color scheme I wanted of white and black. I do have a NZXT lighting and fan controller but thats because They seem to make pretty good products at reasonable prices.

blackhawk846 [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

Hey, pretty irrelevant question, but I need to know if this I should be concerned about this. Do your NZXT Kraken x60 lights stay on after you shutdown? Mine do.. and I'm scared.

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 10 months ago

Yes they do. You can turn it off in the software. It scares the **** out of me too.

blackhawk846 [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

haha okay, thanks buddy (what software, the NZXT fan control?) btw awesome build, bonus points for custom sleeving, must have taken hours O_O lol.

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

NZXT Kraken control software. Also bought those cables off of Corsairs website, they have a couple different colors if you have a corsair PSU that is.

blackhawk846 [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

Corsair? That, I do, but all that custom sleeving and what not isn't really my thing, yet. Someday, perhaps, and then I hope my PC looks almost as good as yours lol. However I can't seem to find what you're talking about in the NZXT software... are you saying you can make it so it doesn't stay on after shutdown, or are you saying there's an option to turn off the LED completely?

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

you can get replacement cables from Corsair that are individually sleeved, cost $100 and they come in couple different colors. As far as I know there is not a way to shut the light of when the PC shuts off. but with the software you can turn it off completely. should be a tab at the bottom that says "Light setting". you can turn it off in there.

blackhawk846 [1 Build] 1 point 10 months ago

Okay. Thanks for the help! By the way, do you have a steam/origin? I'm still pretty new to PC so to put it bluntly, I don't have any friends lol.

istealunderwear [7 Builds] 2 points 14 months ago

This screams for a custom loop!

Still an amazing build and it's gonna do you well.

Everything seems to be perfect, how are those 780 preforming? Done any benchmarks yet?

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 14 months ago

Someday I will get a custom loop. Being this was my first build I figured I would hold off for now. 3D Mark Fire Strike Extreme = 7983. Waiting on better drivers.

swainey 1 point 14 months ago

Is the asus sabertooth z87 a good motherboard?

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 14 months ago

I like it alot, no problems so far. Easy OC's and has 5 year warranty.

TyPitt 1 point 14 months ago

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 14 months ago

FaPooCcino 1 point 13 months ago

I have decided that this build is so beautiful that I myself will build a system similar to this. Thanks for the inspiration and awesome rig :)

xolot1 [1 Build] 1 point 13 months ago

Very clean build, +1! Where did you get those back-plates for the GPU?

blaziecat1103 1 point 12 months ago

YOUR BLACK AND WHITE COLOR SCHEME IS RUINED BY THE RED LETTERING ON YOUR POWER SUPPLY! jk :)

purplepenguin 1 point 12 months ago

So how's that EVGA card treating you? I'm trying to choose between that and the MSI twin frozr version.

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 12 months ago

They are working awesome. Never had a MSI card so I cant tell you if there good from personal experience. Can't go wrong with EVGA though, they have amazing customer service.

Jinchur 1 point 11 months ago

+1 man! Amazing build!

Yevgeniy_Onegin [1 Build] 1 point 11 months ago

I'm doing a similar build. Is 860 watts enough? I have 2 choices: 1. AX860i 2. AX1200i

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 11 months ago

860w is plenty for SLI 780's.

Sz_Benny [2 Builds] 1 point 11 months ago

THIS IS AMAZING

Rolphy [2 Builds] 1 point 11 months ago

Is it wrong to want to rub my balls all over this build.

But seriously, this is my favourite build on the site, i wouldn't change a single thing about this.

+10k

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 11 months ago

Thanks :)

lachrymal 1 point 9 months ago

This is how I'd build one for that money. Except use a Fractal Design case and for more pop an NZXT White PS. Prefer a Sensei and non gaming headphones. Nice job for sure!

Dubesta11 [5 Builds] 1 point 9 months ago

How do the monitors work for you? Looking to get a few, not sure how well they will work together.

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 9 months ago

They work awesome. loving the triple monitors. so much in fact I added a 40" samsung above them for more multitasking fun.

Dubesta11 [5 Builds] 1 point 9 months ago

I would love to do that, at least 2 to start, with separate mice/keyboard

Baracas88 1 point 8 months ago

how do you feel about the sabertooth, as oppossed to the maximus VI Extreme?? Im debating between the two. Also, your vengeance RAM. it runs at 1.65 volts, but im getting a warning that the 4770K cant run ram at that voltage.. yours is doing fine? Thanks and awesome build man! really slick! +1

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 8 months ago

Never really dug too much into the motherboards. The Sabertooth had everything I needed and the look I was going for. Very solid motherboard if you ask me. And yes my ram is at 2400Mhz at 1.65v I got that same warning but its fine. Never had any problems with this build. Looking at getting rid of my SLI 780's for some 790's.

Arrowdodger -2 points 14 months ago

3 way SLI, 3 Monitors, 2 Video Cards?

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 14 months ago

2 Way SLI, 3 Monitors, 2 Videocards.

Arrowdodger -1 points 14 months ago

Why didn't you get a 3rd card to have equal cache memory for each monitor? cause you run the risk of a laggy interface if you run 2 for 3

Dillingr [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 14 months ago

Runs fine.

Arrowdodger -1 points 14 months ago

interesting.........if it runs fine then continue......
