You can remove the middle HD bay to allow better airflow from the intakes/

xomm [2 Builds] 3 points 21 months ago

You can also remove the lower bay if you move your HDD to the 5.25" bays and the SSD to the back of the case to fully expose the front intakes. Unfortunately, moving the SSD requires removing the motherboard, so...

bish_stix 2 points 20 months ago

How do you install an HDD in the 5.25" bay? Noob here.

xomm [2 Builds] 3 points 20 months ago

Search for 3.5" to 5.25" adapters.

Nice clean build, kinda pricey. What is your plan for this beast, surely not just games.

Lots of rendering and recording I am sure, if everything goes my way

All I did was stare at your office and desktop background... Matches the price of your build

kirbyloveszoe 1 point 21 months ago

Extremely nice build, makes me want to use that case next time I build.

cavemanpc [1 Build] 1 point 21 months ago

Very nice, looks clean cables too and +1 for the same speakers, they're beast :)

saw1833 [1 Build] 1 point 21 months ago

Very clean setup. That said, why use surround sound speakers like that? You should put a couple behind you. :P

How much space did you have left for your RAM? I'm getting the same CPU cooler as you and I'm wondering how well the RAM will fit.

wrox [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 21 months ago

Having low-profile left over a centimeter or two between the memory and the cooler - I would go for low-profile or very-low-profile; You mostly wont see anything of it except the colour!

Wow! Your desk is immaculate.

Uzi780 [1 Build] 1 point 21 months ago

wrox [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 21 months ago

Thank you! It is IKEA Micke.

iHubble 1 point 14 months ago

How to you like it? I have the same and I plan on putting my first PC on it over the Holidays. One problem I have with it at the moment is that its depth is relatively short comparing to other desk. Is it comfortable for gaming?

randomjester 1 point 21 months ago

Freaking sexy build and really nice desk setup!

Bold move going with a 650W PSU, heh, because we would have seen so many other people with such a build get like a zillion watt PSU, lol.

Gorgeous Build... Lovely,

Question on the case though and cables really... Im using the Same Case and Looking at custom Cables for the PSU for looks... What Length Cables you think would be needed to reach everything?

How are you finding the Mouse too... Im looking into what Mouse to get at the minute

D3ck3rCain 1 point 19 months ago

ImYourChrist 1 point 3 months ago

I like the shelves above the desk and kinda the whole atmosphere of the room. Could you tell me where did you get the PSU and how much it costed?
