Awesome build!! +1 What fps are you getting in bf3? Have you played any other games with it? What fps on those?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 9 points 7 months ago

At the moment i have it capped at 125 fps If i let it go it will hit 130-180 fps in metro 64 man server I played crisis 2 but didn't check the fps It pretty much just BF3 for me

TheRealCheekyGit 11 points 7 months ago

If Frosty the Snowman had a PC, this would be it.

Awesome, awesome job!! +1

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 4 points 7 months ago

lol I like that

fnapoli [1 Build] 5 points 7 months ago

This is insane...and it's your first build? Whoa!

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 4 points 7 months ago

I spent a few months of research and I have a some design ability

xCloudyHorizon 2 points 7 months ago

Beautiful build. I've been waiting for someone to put a formula into a R4 for a while now. Just curious but, much space would you say there was between the motherboard and the top of the case?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

Me too. I measured from the bottom of the fan to the top of the motherboard is " 5/8 " I considered a top Rad and still might At the moment I thinking of adding a 120 rad at the bottom

l13199l [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

this looks so beautiful

th3m4dh4tt3r [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

Nice looking, clean build! However it seems like you had some problems with the length of your tubing? Why didn't you cut it, it appears in some places that it's way too long. Solid build though overall!

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I agree I need the rad tube and res tube to be long from drain, fill and air filter cleaning

Also I cut them longer to make sure I have a enough

th3m4dh4tt3r [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Alright, fair enough. Although in the future you can use the flllport on the reservoir, and just connect a tube to that when you need to, it's easier than unscrewing the compression fittings and taking out the barb, and probably less messy.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I planned ahead before I assemble everything I drilled a fill and drain hole. When I revise the cooling system I will finish the fill/drain and shorten the tubing the revision is adding a 120 rad and fan at the bottom

th3m4dh4tt3r [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Okay, sounds good! Have fun!

Killeneminem 2 points 1 month ago

This is beautiful :') I'm tearing up at the pure perfection.

Bartmanicus [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

You have to get some mayhems pastel white into that loop, otherwise amazing build! +1

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I considered it but the clean up worries me

Bartmanicus [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Yeah I've read some log and it seems to be a POTA

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Maybe I will some day. I originally I wanted a white and blue build but there are to many red lights. I think just white tubing would be the best

fsma92 [8 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

damn

TrekonBT 1 point 7 months ago

what did you use to white your armor?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

I primed it with a primer that works with plastic and painted it with a satin finish 2 coats

Daxtinator15 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Simply beautiful.

794 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Looks ******* fantastic. Look forward to seeing more pics. Get one of your overall setup with the monitors, too!

JoeOC [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Are you using distilled water?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

yes with a silver sliver

TerraPosse [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

If Whitewalkers were to venture into IT...this would be the outcome, a slick white beast of a machine!

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

lol thanks

Enlyten [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

This is beautiful +1

Nicholas13 1 point 7 months ago

AWESOME BUILD! but i wold have went with the corsair vengeance k95 instead of the k 60 for the keyboard

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I know I regret not getting the K95

saw1833 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Looks fantastic! As said, if you shortened some of your tubes, it'd look even better!

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I agree I need the rad tube and res tube to be long from drain, fill and air filter cleaning

saw1833 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Otherwise, all-around super attractive build, I'm pretty jealous.

fnapoli [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

So what kind of airflow would this be? Am I understanding this corectly -- hot air is being pushed out both the back and through the rad out the front?

Are there fans mounted to the top that i can't see? If so, they'd be pushing cold air into the case, right?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I made so revision since the picture. 2x 140 in top of the case "intake" 1x 140 back "exhaust" 1x 140 bottom "exhaust" 2x 120 front Rad pull air in 2x 120 rear Rad pull air away from rad I open to ideas

DjArtifact 1 point 7 months ago

Damn that's a lot of components for a single 240 rad. Nice build though, nice choice of thermal paste and nice SLI bridge.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I know, something I was really considered about. But with a few changes it seem to be great. Idle 31-35c cpu load 45-50c w/4.2 cpu gpu 43c

I think delid helped alot

DjArtifact 1 point 7 months ago

It being an intake probably helps a lot too. Getting that cold air from the outside instead of the warm air in the case. What RPM are you running the fans at?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

The top fans 1050 RPM back and bottom 600-500 RPM

Artimaeus 1 point 3 months ago

I've heard that thermal paste has a tendency to dry up. Have you experienced that?

PickItApart 1 point 7 months ago

drool.......Great build.

Can you add monitor pics?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

I uploaded a monitor setting pic Thanks

PickItApart 1 point 7 months ago

thanks. I'm sure others agree, we love your build and would love to see how everything looks. For many, including me...you have a dream setup.

YourLocalPCNoob 1 point 7 months ago

is there any room for HDDs since you are using the space for a radiator?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I dont believe so. I have alot of external hard drives so it really wasnt a concern there is no room in the back if your curious

Mattyice47 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

will it run minesweeper?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

LOL I hope so

Mattyice47 [1 Build] 2 points 7 months ago

You sure..... You need at least four titans all watercooled in quad sli just to run it on low settings. But seriously what games have you tested on it.

ThonyGenzo 1 point 7 months ago

Just to give you a tip. The formula's Cross Chill is aluminum block.

Alot of people complain because of that stuff.

Just came here to give you a tip :)

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I know but its coated with something it not bear aluminum. I considered that when I bought it Thanks

nathancl_1st [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

the build is great, but the highlight is the sli bridge to me... outstanding

18hockey [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

This is your first build O_O Mine looks pathetic compared to this. Then again, I didn't have $4600! Amazing, love the color scheme, +1.

PickItApart 1 point 7 months ago

What are your speakers?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

They are logitech x-530 refurbished for $45 I think they work pretty good would nice if some cables were longer

Goku671 [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

i would get some white tubing and keep it short, looks amazing.

fizzwizz15 1 point 7 months ago

Hot damn! :O Amazing!

NG_Fright 1 point 7 months ago

Gorgeous... I would have prefered some 45 and 90 degree fittings here and there... but still awesome.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

Yea, I am revising the water loop this weekend with more rads and 90 degree fitting Also classified gtx 780 hydro copper X 2

blaziecat1103 1 point 7 months ago

Wow! Putting a honking black/red Maximus 6 Formula into a classy white system with black accents seems to be quite a feat! Also, do you have an anti-corrosive in your loop? Apparently, the VRM cooler has aluminum internals.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I going to add some anti-corrosive. I am revising the water loop with more rads and 90 degree fitting. also the VRM is painted inside

KingOFCRuel_ 1 point 7 months ago

How are the fans? Air Series AF140? i heard they are quite loud

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 6 months ago

the AF140 are quite the SP120 fans in push/pull are a little loud but it doesn't matter me

Pvt_Nutzack 1 point 7 months ago

Your CPU cooler is upside down...

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 6 months ago

lol yea

This is my favorite build on PC Part Picker! I love it, the only thing I would improve is some sleeved cables. But I can't think of anything else

barackobeeezy 1 point 6 months ago

this is so badass

22jk [1 Build] 1 point 6 months ago

Man dude that is an awesome build for your first time! I can tell you put alot of money and Hard Work into this. Nice Job and congratulations i wouldn't have done anything differently.

ArrKayCee [1 Build] 1 point 5 months ago

WOW...Can I sell you my soul for this?

RedShnow 1 point 5 months ago

This is actually the perfect computer Nice job man you have a winner with you now

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks

NikitaFun 1 point 4 months ago

You are my hero! How much did the 2400 CAS11 RAM help you?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

Thanks

I dont really notice anything with the adata ram but is has more copper in it. thats what attracted me to it

Undead_Warrior12 1 point 4 months ago

Jesus Christ I would pay for that but I have a question is this a good build?

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/29eQf

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

yes i think you have a nice build there. only thing i would change "possibly" is the maximus extreme 6 is a little overkill and costs more than you get. But not knowing your goals i could be wrong. I think the true valve of the extreme is more then 3 GPU's and heavily tweaking your overclock

Also is really like Cooler Master HAF XB (Black) i want to do a watercooled HAF XB

Have fun with your build

heaven 1 point 4 months ago

How did you go about painting the armour on the Formula? it looks beaut

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 4 months ago

there's a few screws that holds it on. really easy

heaven 1 point 4 months ago

I'm aware of that :3 I was referring to what you used to actually colour it, it looks really good

twaelbroeck 1 point 4 months ago

Do you even have any cords in there?? Wow. Very nice work.

Nosmas 1 point 4 months ago

This is an ahhh-mazing build! I gasped when I saw this. I want to replicate this build. Its absolutely amazing and wonderfully gorgeous. I know I'm a bit late in posting this comment and I hope you get it!

changerrs 1 point 3 months ago

where is your ssd? did you mount it to the back of the mobo tray?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 3 months ago

Yea it's mounted in the back

Artimaeus 1 point 3 months ago

Hey! I'm planning out my first PC, and I'd like to do a custom water loop like yours. I'd really like some pointers/advice from you. If it's possible and you'd be okay with it, I'd like to talk to you in Skype or similar.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 3 months ago

Yea I'll help, I changing internet provider so my internet is down Make a list of parts you have ie case. And what part you want to cool

I do think the thermal drys up over time but if the temp are okay it doesn't matter

thunderdan602 [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

Beautiful rig. Question regarding that mobile and case. We're you able to mount the mobo in the case with that mobo backplate being attached?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

Yes the mono fits fine

ollieoxenfree [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

nice build but the paint chip or black spot on cpu block screw draws my attention like road kill and fat asses

dan1229 1 point 2 months ago

Hey I was gonna get this ram and cpu and I was wondering how it runs because I heard you can't run ram over 1.65v with i7s

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 2 months ago

It works fine, but overclocking the CPU with the XMP profile seem to not stable 4.6 and higher

Jozmtr 1 point 2 months ago

Poetry.

Pbandjelly4 1 point 1 month ago

reaches through computer and grabs parts i wount thaut (ik its not typos) +1

Ludamister 1 point 1 month ago

Question: It's hard for me to see exactly what all you have for your radiators but how many and what size do you have? I have an Azza Hurrican 2000 and I'm thinking of adding a 360mm radiator on the top inside with noctua fans on pull. However, I'd still need to add more since I'll also have two 780's classies on with the hydro copper blocks. How much more cooling do you think I'll need? I know I can stick a 140/120mm on the back exhaust. I think I can also put another one on the very bottom as well.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 1 month ago

I have 120mm slim in the rear 120mm 45mm thick bottom 240mm 45mm thick front

I dont know Azza hurrican 2000, but I looked it up it should do 360 rad. Do what need more, No you need 1 120mm per device cooled so if you have 2gpu and 1 cpu then 360 is good, I am cooling 4 devices so i have 480 worth of cooling, Also I found delid and lapping the cpu to be very helping for cooling also use coolabatory ultra thermal paste I also changed all my fan to noctua and change my pump to D5 vario I also lapping the cpu waterblock very helpful

Hakumisoso [2 Builds] 0 points 7 months ago

You are a true enthusiast. May i ask, why hydro copper?

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I was really concern with be disappointed with Gtx 770 sli then I want Gtx 780s sli. thenn I wanted watercooled 780 and hydro copper are the same price as buying 780s,waterblock and backplate and no guarantee of a successful install. I was chick

theonelonewolf [1 Build] 0 points 7 months ago

links for your other custom parts?

Hakumisoso [2 Builds] 2 points 7 months ago

https://www.google.com/ He has them listed.

theonelonewolf [1 Build] 0 points 7 months ago

Yes, thank you... extremely helpful. -_-

I was actually curious where you got them from but that's okay.

Norm101 [2 Builds] 1 point 7 months ago

Check http://www.frozencpu.com. The cards he listed are there as are most of the other components I checked.

knowing27 [Submitter] [1 Build] 1 point 7 months ago

I only painted available parts I made a fan shroud to mount with the fractal design fan shroud
